Join us in the Rare school of fashion in our fun and informative beginners sewing class. Take home a knot bag to be proud of and make more for yourself or friends using our free pattern
We will guide you step by step through the processes involved in creating your own bag.
You will learn
How to position your pattern on the fabric, pin it in place and cut out you fabric pieces
Get to know how to use a domestic sewing machine, threading top and bottom thread, stitch types, thread tension, reverse stitch, and little sewing hacks that will make life easier.
The Rare school of Fashion
Learn about seam allowances and how to keep your stitches parallel to the cut edge.
Learn the unique construction method of the Japanese knot bag and add your own individual touches
All equipment provided sewing machines, scissors, pins etc ( you are also welcome to use your own sewing machine)
Refreshments provided throughout
