• Design your own dress and learn how to create a pattern from a block in your size
• Learn how to mark your pattern with all of the information that you would find on a commercial pattern
• Learn about different fabrics and how you can use this information to help you choose the perfect fabric for your project
• Learn how to lay your pattern on the fabric for cutting and how to mark up your fabric with information to ensure a perfect assembly
• Learn how to use and overlocker for a neat durable finish
• Learn ways of achieving an even seam allowance
• Learn the importance of correct pressing
• Learn how to insert a perfect zip
• Learn how to add facing to the neckline
• Learn about darts and how to sew them correctly
• Sleeves can be tricky but we will show you how you can insert them properly with the easing in method
• You will learn how to give your garment a neat profession finish
